Tickets for iKON’s 2nd concert were “sold out” within 10 minutes of opening

YG BoyGroup iKON has proven their formidable ticket power.

The first-round ticket sale for iKON’s 2nd concert “iKONCERT 2016 SHOWTIME TOUR IN SEOUL” was opened on January 6 at 8pm. The first group of tickets sold on the 6 at 8pm was sold out within 10 minutes of opening, to draw a keen attention. It is expected that competition for the second group of tickets which is going on sale on the 7 will be fierce as well.

Fans will be able to witness new songs iKON has released since their first concert as well as how much iKON has been improved artistically at the team’s second concert, so the fierce competition for tickets was predicted. Just as expected, all the tickets opened for the first sale on January 6 were sold out, and the name iKON and the official seller of the tickets took No.1 and No.2 places on the real-time search word rankings of major search engines, displaying iKON’s enormous ticket power.

iKON also sold out all 13,000 tickets upon the opening of ticket sale for their debut concert “SHOWTIME” that was held on October 3, upon the team’s debut.

iKON has hit three consecutive home-runs from debut song “MY TYPE” released in September last year, and then with “RHYTHM TA” and “APOLOGY”, dominating No.1 ranks on major music charts. They further consolidated the status as the hottest rookie of the year 2015 by receiving the rookie of the year award in 2015 Melon Music Awards and 2015 MAMA.

iKON’s second concert “iKONCERT 2016 SHOWTIME TOUR IN SEOUL” will be held on January 30 and 31 at 6pm at Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Olympic Park, Seoul.
