iKON releases music and video of “MY TYPE” at midnight today… “Countdown”

As the music and music video of “MY TYPE”, the warm-up release of YG’s rookie idol group iKON, will be eventually unveiled at midnight today (September 15 at 0 o’clock), the countdown for the release has begun.

On the 14 at 9am, YG Entertainment (“YG”) posted the countdown image for the music and music video of “MY TYPE”, iKON’s warm-up single to be released in a day, on the company’s official blog (www.yg-life.com).
The counter image with title of “iKON – WARM-UP SINGLE ‘MY TYPE’ COUNTER” shows phrase “WARM-UP SINGLE & M/V RELEASE 2015.09.15 0AM”, which announces the time of the release. Notably, iKON members in the image are wearing a big smile in colorful casual outfits, catching the eyes of fans.

Before the release of the counter image, YG unveiled a poster with the title and credit of warm-up release “MY TYPE” and a poster titled “D-2”, further raising expectations for iKON’s debut. According to the credit, “MY TYPE” is composed by CHOICE37, KUSH, and B.I, and its lyrics are written by B.I, BOBBY, and KUSH.

iKON will unveil the music and music video of their warm-up release “MY TYPE” on the 15 at 0 o’clock. Then, the team will release “DEBUT HALF ALBUM ‘WELCOME BACK’” on October 1 and “DEBUT FULL ALBUM ‘WELCOME BACK’” on November 2, to begin their performances in earnest. Plus, on October 3, iKON’s debut concert “SHOWTIME” will be held at Olympic Gymnastics Hall in Seoul, to present fancy performances to fans.
