[Full Video] iKON totally overturned “Fantastic Duo 2” show

Even though the performance was short, iKON showed an eye-catching presence.
iKON boasted their full talent in a collaboration performance with rock band “Boohwal”.That was the encounter between the legend and latest trend of Korea’s music scene. iKON made a surprise appearance in the ending performance of SBS “Fantastic Duo 2” show aired on the 18 this month, to sing “The Story of the Rain and You” with Boohwal.
Vocalist Kim Dong-Myung boasted his appealing voice and guitarist Kim Tae-won made the performance all the more impressive with his flagship sentimental guitar performance. iKON performed the song along with the legendary band, to boast their own talent in music as an idol boy group famous for their outstanding talent.

So far, iKON has mostly performed hip-hop songs to show masculine and powerful appeals with disciplined group dance. However, iKON in “Fantastic Duo” show was totally different. iKON touched the emotions of listeners with their calm and sentimental performance.

The performance by Boohwal and iKON in which hip-hop and rock were well-balanced left a deep impression with the perfect harmony between the past and new generation artists of Korea. Notably, iKON created a beautiful harmony with the lyrics “I love you” and presented a whole new re-interpretation of the song by adding BOBBY and B.I’s rap part.

The collaboration performance drew keen attention right after it was broadcasted. Notably, even though iKON appeared in the show for only about a few minutes, the team stood under as big spotlight as Kim Yeon-woo and “Convenience Store Oppa” who were selected as the 6th “fantastic duo”.

Moreover, music fans are now actively demanding that the song performed by Boohwal and iKON be released on line. iKON’s new style and appeals fascinated music fans.
