iKON’s unending power on charts… [WELCOME BACK iKON]

 iKON is sweeping music charts for the fourth time.

Boy group iKON made it once again. Digital single “#WYD” that is released as a surprise gift for fans is sweeping No.1 places on the chart of eight major music-streaming websites: Korea’s biggest Melon, Bugs, Soribada, Olleh Music, Monkey 3, Mnet, NAVER Music, and Genie. iKON has always taken top ranks on charts every time they released a new song since last year. With such record, iKON is proven to be the perfect type for pop music fans once again.

iKON released new single “#WYD” on May 30. iKON officially announced their comeback three days in advance, unlike YG’s usual practice of solid promotion for a new song from two weeks before its release. However, iKON’s power was remarkable as expected, even without such promotion. iKON is solidifying their status as a talented boy group, drawing big attention and popularity.

As “#WYD” is a song that anyone can easily enjoy, it is expected to record a long-run hit. Just as “MY TYPE” created a mega-hit and drew big popularity as a buzzword, “#WYD” also has an appealing melody that anyone can comfortably enjoy.
