iKON to Release First Full Album with Two Title Tracks on December 24

iKON – who has swept all the male rookie of the year awards this year – will release their first full album on December 24.

iKON debuted last September, and their debut single “MY TYPE” took the charts by storm. Afterwards, they released “RHYTHM TA” in October and “APOLOGY” in November, an unusual debut project for a rookie. The release of their full album on December 24 will mark a successful end to their grand debut project.

YG Entertainment announced that their original plan was to release iKON’s debut album on November 14. But, B.I wrote another title song for the album when the album was almost finished. So, the release has been delayed since they had to make the music video for the new title track.

Even though it was not intended, iKON’s full album will be a meaningful Christmas present for their fans as it will be released on Christmas Eve.

YG Entertainment said that the new title track written by B.I was so good that they had to include it in the album and delay the release, so expectations are running high.
