iKON rescheduled comeback plan… “Brining themselves to the next level in November and December”

YG's iKON will confirm themselves as the best rookie singer for this year, after releasing albums.

On the 28 this month at 2pm, iKON posted an announcement of YG’s blog, which said “iKON changed the plan for their album release that was scheduled in November”. YG said, “Not just one album but several albums will be released separately, to create the music videos for more than three songs”. Such decision shows the fact that YG is resolved to dominate the music scene until the very end of this year with iKON’s music by releasing not just one album but a series of albums one after another.

“There was president YANG’s order to create a mega-hit song that can go beyond ‘MY TYPE’. According to his special order, YG’s main producers including TEDDY and KUSH are now working on iKON’s album. Plus, Korea’s famous music video directors like Seo Hyeon-Seung and Han Sa-Min, as well as famous foreign directors have also joined the iKON project. Furthermore, the team of stylists has also been reshuffled, so you can look forward to iKON’s bold re-attack on the music scene for this November and December”, added YG.

iKON has already consolidate their position as the best rookie idol group for the year 2015. They held a concert upon their debut at the Olympic Gymnastics Hall which is one of the largest performance halls in Korea, proving their high popularity by selling out all the 13,000 tickets. With enthusiastic acclamation from fans who have long been waiting for iKON’s debut, iKON presented perfect and passionate live performances of total 15 songs including three encore songs.

The music video of “MY TYPE” that was released on the 15 last month has surpassed 11 million views on YouTube. Plus, iKON has been carrying out fan meeting tour in Japan under the title of “iKON FAN MEETING 2015 IN JAPAN ~iKONTACT~”, which began on the 10 this month in Tokyo and will draw total 26,6000 fans in total 12 meeting events in Aichi, Fukuoka, and Osaka as well. iKON will also meet Korean fans in their third autographing event held on the 28 at IFC Mall in Yeoui-do, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their debut half album, following the first and second autographing events which were held on the 17 and 18, respectively.
