“Thrilling similarity” between iKON and B.I [iKON’s debut ③]

 YGE’s artist B.I is very similar to his team iKON. B.I’s image itself well-expresses the concept of team iKON. Then, what are the characteristics of the young “iKON” B.I who will “make the future of YG”?

◆ “OK to be young”… A charismatic leader

B.I is still so young, but he is a charismatic leader. In iKON, there are members who are older than B.I who was born 1996, such as KIM JIN HWAN who was born in 1994 and BOBBY born in 1995. However, B.I is always like the leader. As BIGBANG’s G-DRAGON is the leader of the team even though he is not the eldest one, B.I could be the leader of iKON as he is recognized for his talent and full charisma. TABLO, a senior YG artist, once positively evaluated B.I, saying, “B.I will be an excellent leader”.
◆ “Excellent basic skills”… Self-sufficient talented producer

Even though he is yet to make an official debut, B.I’s talent is enough to be extolled. Producer B.I’s talent unveiled in Mnet’s “WIN” show in 2013 and “MIX & MATCH” show in 2014 always surprised not only YG’s president YANG HYUN SUK but also TV viewers. B.I showed his talent and potential from the days when he was a little boy. In the year 2009 when B.I was 14, MC Mong was enjoying his golden days with “Indian Boy”. The little rapper who added fun and excitement of MC Mong’s performance beside him was B.I. Even then, B.I’s colorful performance and outstanding rapping skills were comparable to that of MC Mong. B.I proved his talent and potential even then, from the day when he was just a little boy.
