iKON debut schedule is announced... Big ambition to “dominate September, October, and November”

 iKON will be handed the baton from their “brothers”, BIGBANG.

On the 8, YG Entertainment announced the debut schedule of iKON on its official blog YG LIFE, to mark the launching of YG’s next-generation idol boy group. In the photo unveiled with the announcement, the season schedule of iKON is written against the background of red basketball court.
iKON will first release their debut single on the 15 this month, and on October 1, they will unveil a half album with six songs, which is just the half of their debut album. Then, on November 2, one month later, the full-length album with all the 12 songs will be released.

Such schedule shows iKON’s will and resolution to be the hero of the music scene in the second half of this year in this fall and winter, following BIGBANG who dominated the summer season with their “MADE” series that began in May. It is also showing iKON’s bold ambition that they will not only take the rookie awards but also sweep music charts during October and November, while satisfying the thirst of their fans who have long been waiting for the team’s debut. This kind of plan would not have been possible, if the team did not have confidence and trust in the quality of their own songs.

The members of iKON stood in front of the public for the first time on August 20, 2013. At that time, they did not even have the name “iKON”. Since then, they have grown a lot by going through fierce “survival game” in “WIN” and “MIX & MATCH” show for the past two years, and improved themselves by YG head producer YANG HYUN SUK’s harsh training. Now, finally, the members who have just completed their preparation, are confidently presenting the “result” of the past two years to the world.
